Professional Staff
Attending Penn State for his undergraduate degree and The University of Memphis for his graduate degree Steve has a variety of experiences including residence life, student conduct, leadership development, and of course campus activities. Outside of work Steve is very actively involved regionally and nationally with Ultimate Frisbee playing, coaching, and serving as the Executive Director for DC's professional women's team the DC Shadow. Steve and his wife also run a Flower Farm called Little Walter's Flower Farm so if you're looking for fresh-cut flower bouquets let him know and he can bring one into the office for you.
During her undergraduate studies at Montclair State University, MacKenzie immersed herself in the campus' extracurricular opportunities. From working and being involved with various departments and different organizations on campus, her interest and passion for higher education grew. She then pursued her Master's in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Leadership in Higher Education at Rider University; her thesis focused on burnout in undergraduate students through over-involvement. While at Rider, she also advised multiple organizations while holding an assistantship in Auxiliary Services. MacKenzie is a dedicated fan of the New York Mets, enjoys discovering new coffee shops around DC, and as a New Jerseyan, will gladly discuss the age-old Taylor ham versus pork roll debate (it's Taylor ham).
